It’s Wordsmith Wednesday! I am still working on Part II to “Stop Lying to Yourself” but I just couldn’t deny you some good words, right?!
This young artist has truly posted some good poetry and spoken word on YouTube. I recommend listening to a few of his posts WHEN YOU FINISH LOOKING THROUGH THE POSTS HERE!
Why do more immigrants realize the American Dream than Americans? I don’t know but I can speculate:
We have become lazy and too comfortable.
There’s no need for me to go on about depending on the government to support us (cause they won’t and they shouldn’t).
It would make even less sense to try to convince you that we, as Americans, have it made. If you don’t believe me, then go live outside of America. Take with you the income of someone living in “American poverty” and see how good a life you will live in other countries.
After that little trip, you will be amazed by the blessings you live with every day. I beg of you to be grateful TODAY (and tomorrow and the day after and the day after and the day after……………)
The freedoms we take for granted are available to us — living in the US — because of hard work. So get to work — be dedicated and committed!
The other night I sent a message to a good friend of mine. We were having some discussion about business building — marketing to be exact. Now, we both are in personal service businesses. So, I was talking to him about a marketing plan.
His response: “Work your ass off is my top marketing strategy.”
Wow! That’s why he’s been successful and why he will continue to be successful in life and in business…
