W.H. Murray. “Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way.”

Dear Messenger:
There’s a good reason why I want to be wealthy. As far as I can tell I wasn’t made to be anything but wealthy. I believe that I am predestined for greatness… for wealth… for happiness… for long-lasting love…
I believe that I am supposed to have everything that I want. Part of that is because I was spoiled by my parents. Another part of that is because the God I know spoils me every morning I open my eyes. A major part of me just knows it. In fact, I believe that I have known it since I was a child.
I didn’t play with super hero action figures too often.
I chose to make myself into one.
I was the one saving the world, the damsel in distress, and constantly trying to beat my personal best score on Tetris (man, Tetris was the game!).
My parents pumped my head so full of optimism that I think that it eventually confused me.
When I left for college, I had a definite plan. When I arrived at college that plan changed yearly (I did graduate though). When I left college for a life on my own I still hadn’t figured out how to own my life.
So, I just went with the program that I was given.
THEN…
I would sit at work and dream of a better life. It wasn’t that my life was bad. My life was pretty good actually. It was that I still had this itch that I wasn’t scratching…
You know that feeling, don’t you?
Eventually, I began reading about successful people and the picture I had for myself began to illuminate my mind with a glow of “what could be”.
- I could be a famous attorney… no
- I could be a world-renowned comedian… no
- I could be an inventor and save the world… no
I know… I know…
- I could be a real estate entrepreneur… Yes
That’s my ticket. And, I could write about all the stuff I was doing because I have always wanted to write a book.
AN AMAZING CONCEPT!!
All of sudden, it seemed as if everywhere I turned, every conversation I had, every person I met, and every website that popped up had something to do with how to be successful at being a real estate investor and entrepreneur.
Boy, did I have a lot to learn. I went so far as to learn how to be more seductive because I read that attraction was a key element to successful people. My only concept of attraction was seducing women so I sought out the best seduction books and experts I could afford. (Now, that’s funny but I had a lot of fun trying out their techniques.)
The point that I am getting at here is that a lack of clarity in your life will keep you riding down a path that you have not designed. And if you have not designed it then you have no clue if the end result will be in your favor.
That’s not cool!
However, the moment that you make a commitment to define your life, things will happen for you that you would not believe.
I mean… who would have thought that learning about how to seduce women because I didn’t understand the Law of Attraction would have led me to learn NLP which is the fundamental principle from which Tony Robbins teaches..
which led began my study of psychology and great minds of the philosophies of life and business (including finding the book, Think and Grow Rich) and now to owning properties and writing a blog…
BASICALLY, WHAT I’M SAYING IS…
I know that I will be wealthy. The evidence is in the facts. The proof is in my Faith. Yessir!!(or yes ma’am)
I knew that I wanted to get better and I was led there by God, the Universe, the World (the G.U.W.)!! And you will too!!! (rhyming unintended)
Make a decision and stick to it. Kill that confused, indecisive messenger inside of you that is keeping you from your blessing.
Do it NOW!!! Make a decision TODAY!!!
What commitments have you made today that you are moving you towards your goals? Leave your answer in the comments.
