The simple idea that there is more for us to do for the world is something that Millennials are having difficulty swallowing. I consider myself one of them so that doesn’t exclude me. Yes, we can do whatever we choose to do but at what point do we begin choosing greatness?
The greatness label is not given out haphazardly although the potential for it is given to us at birth.
I look around at my generation and I see touches of success but why is it not more worldwide. Lots of articles and comments about people moving back in with their families and rethinking life. I say good on you.
But, at the end of the day it’s time that we reclaim this country and this world. Our parents have done their best with what they had to prepare us for our destiny. We are a generation of entrepreneurs, leaders, and philanthropist. There is more called upon us than we might even believe is possible.
The question that I pose is this: What are you going to do about accepting the responsibilities that greatness carries?
Greatness is something we attain by the person we become.
I, for one, am looking for the opportunity to bring up leaders. I am actively looking and supporting the achievers. I want more and I know that it comes from becoming more.
If you are ready to take this journey with me than raise your figurative hand and be noticed.
Go do more for your family, for your community, for your God than the world thinks that we can do.
It’s our time to shine. But, it only comes with hard work, focus, belief in God, and humility. Entitlement doesn’t work. I’ve tried it for too long. Haven’t you?
